Micheal Brothers' Studio

www.michaelbrothersart.com

I began painting watercolors of my antiques and street scenes of our travels in 2004. Progressing to photorealism portraits in watercolor, I set a goal of being accepted into a national juried exhibition. It took me 10 years and in 2014, I was accepted into the Keystone National Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper.

Having completed that goal, I expanded my artistic portfolio to include abstract mixed media (Acrylic Mediums and Ink) and cold wax and oil. Creating abstract art is so freeing and exhilarating for me. I am creating work that I truly love and hope it will bring joy to everyone who visits my studio.

My new goal is to create art that will enhance the beauty of your home. I truly enjoy my new art ventures and hope it shows in my work.

Artists Bio

I am a self- taught artist having worked with many artists across the country. I have taken workshops/classes with Laurin Mccraken, Deb Watson, Tom Jones, Larry Lombardo, Lynne Yancha, Linda Benton McCloskey, Julie Yontz Rupp, Lynn Ferris, Andy Smith and others.

Taking all of the information that I have gathered from these talented people, I have developed and am still developing a style of art that I hope will be pleasing to my friends and customers.
